NCIS National Certificate in Security

NCIS is a play on the popular Television series, however in our case it is used to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our staff who have successfully completed their National Certificate In Security to Level 3.

The First Contact group has more graduates in the National Certificate in Security to Level 3 than all other companies in Wellington combined.

Every staff member employed by the First Contact group is required to actively participate in training through their qualification. It is our commitment to our staff to actively manage their careers regardless of whether they intend on being in the security industry on a casual basis or for the long term.

It is our commitment to our clients that EVERY staff member we provide will hold appropriate qualifications to be working on their site. Every staff member will either hold or we will be able to show measurable results of them actively working through the qualification.

The image is of 23 of the 27 graduates for 2009. For the second year running, First Contact was the only security company in Wellington to have representatives at the annual Mayoral Graduation Ceremony held to celebrate people who have achieved their National Qualifications.

As part of our qualification for licensed security guards, we also include NZDDA testing and Site Safe qualifications.

Our clients receive from us an Individual Staff Profile. This outlines where the staff member is at with their training and includes NZDDA test dates, and copies of their First Aid, C of A and Site Safe qualifications.

NCIS is fun for our staff however externally exhibits our commitment towards training.
